National Federation of the Blind of South Dakota 2024 STATE CONVENTION

 Friday, April 26 through Saturday, April 27, 2024

The NFB of SD State Convention will be hosted at the Rushmore Hotel & Suites. The address is: 445 MT Rushmore Road, Rapid City, SD 57701. If you reserve a hotel room, be sure to tell them it is for the NFB of SD State Convention. The cost is $69.00 per night, plus tax. Please, reserve your room by calling 605 348-8300. You will need to give a credit card number to hold the room. If you pay the NFB of South Dakota when you arrive, there will be no taxes. Make the check payable to the NFB of South Dakota.

The Convention starts with the Service to the Blind & Visually Impaired Public meeting on Friday afternoon, April 26 at 4PM, with the SD staff with Gaye Mattke and her staff on services to the Blind of SD. A Social will follow with food and games. Saturday starts at 8:30 AM and ends with the Banquet. Please, remember to bring snacks for the social, door prizes and silent auction.
